We’re pleased to share Supporting Education Group’s Preparation Toolkit for Inclusion Strategy Development, created to support school and MAT leaders as they work to build and then write their Inclusion Strategies before the December 31st deadline. It has been developed by Liz Murray, SEG’s SEND Director and former Director of SEND for Star Academies.
The toolkit is designed to support the thinking that sits behind a strong strategy. It helps leaders take a step back, engage with their context and their current provision, and work through key questions that need to be answered before writing begins.
With practical prompts and structured activities, it supports leaders to build a clear, focused approach to inclusion strategy development, with the aim of making meaningful improvements for children and young people with SEND.
