As the system matures, so too must the way we evaluate Multi-Academy Trusts. The complexity of trusts, the variation in context, and the responsibility they hold for school improvement, inclusion and sustainability cannot be meaningfully understood through surface-level compliance alone.

At their core, trust peer reviews are about intelligent accountability. They are undertaken by those who understand trusts because they have led them, governed them, improved them and been held accountable within them. This matters.

Trust peer reviews draw directly on evidence that improvement is strongest when evaluation is undertaken by credible peers with deep contextual understanding. This is not inspection done to trusts, but evaluation rooted in a deep understanding of what effective trust leadership actually looks like.
